To most of us here, South Korea is the place that feeds our addiction for KPOP. For others, it’s a place where you can clone your pets. Say what?
A woman named Danielle recently traveled all the way to South Korea to have her deceased dog, “Trouble“, cloned for $50,000. The dog-mom made an appearance on the Anderson Cooper show where she talked about her dog and his replacement. Danielle has a ginormous photo of Trouble’s face covering an entire wall in her house, showing how much the pup meant to her.
The empty spot was too much for her to take, so she decided to actually recreate Trouble. “It was something that I wanted to do so it worked for me.”
I’m sorry but cloning a pet can’t bring them back to life. Trouble is Trouble and Trouble #2 is Trouble #2. They’re two completely different dogs. Cloning won’t bring back that same love and sweetness.
