The ‘Athena : Goddess of War‘ dramatic concert was held at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on January 5th. Super Junior, SHINee, and SNSD’s Taeyeon joined the main characters from the drama, including Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Kim Min Jong, Choi Siwon, Choo Sung Hoon, and Sean Richard, on stage during the concert. The stars took to the stage and performed for over 25,000 enthusiastic fans.

The event wasn’t a typical concert as the actors recited actual lines from the drama, and also showed off some real moves from the action scenes.

Jung Woo Sung, BoA, TVXQ‘s Changmin, Kim Seung Woo, and IRIS cast members Kim Tae Hee and Lee Byung Hun couldn’t attend the concert but they greeted the fans through a video message.

‘Athena’ producer Jung Tae Won commented, “We were impressed that the viewers are now much younger than they were with ‘IRIS’. It was a memorable time, as the audience members were so responsive.”

During the concert, SNSD’s Taeyeon delivered a flawless performance of her OST song, “I Love You”, for the drama, and received loud cheers from the audience.
