Although Sunmi is no longer a member of Wonder Girls, she is still a trainee under JYPE, however, there have been no plans for her comeback.

Regarding the recent photoshopped photos of all 6 of the girls together, JYPE cleared the air of misunderstandings and rumors claiming that she was going to be returning to the group by stating that she is only a trainee now and that she won’t be coming back as a Wonder Girls member anytime soon.

Many netizens still miss her a lot and commented, “I hope she will return in the industry soon”, “I wish I can see her with the rest of Wonder Girls”, “I will be waiting for her comeback”.

Well, at least there is hope that she one day will make a comeback in the industry since she is still under the company, whether she were a trainee or otherwise, at least she hasn’t left completely, right? =]
