Definitely not something you hear everyday. One of the founders of the popular yogurt chain, Pinkberry, has been accused of chasing down and beating a homeless man. Young Lee reportedly was stopped at a traffic light and was approached by a homeless man asking for some money. A few words were tossed back and forth and then Lee and his passenger chased the poor man down and beat him with a tire iron.
This incident took place last year in June but the 47 year old was taken into custody on the 16th. He was booked and the bail was set to $60,000. Lee used to be a kick-boxer who turned into an architect who then came to co-establish a store of frozen goodness.
I mean, the homeless man was just asking for some money. I don’t see why you would have to get out of your car and chase him down and beat him. Completely unnecessary.
