Is TVXQ going to have a reunion soon? The recent rumours of the possibility of TVXQ’s reunion has caused a lot of buzz throughout the industry.

On January 22nd, a Japanese article titled, “Will Avex act as the savior? TVXQ’s reunion project” reported on rumours that Avex, the company that was hindering JYJ’s Japanese activities, was going to orchestrate a reunion concert at the Tokyo Dome.

The article continues saying, “While the reunion of TVXQ is something that many fans are waiting, the small possibility of this actually happening is an indicator of Avex’s desperation,” hinting that Avex’s reason for this reunion is because of its recent lack of success. Also because of this, it is said that they are willing to go ahead with this project and stop hindering JYJ’s Japanese activities. Also, it is rumoured that Japanese superstar Ayumi Hamasaki is negotiating on behalf of both sides.

Although many fans are super excited after hearing this news (me included!), many are still skeptical of the chances of this reunion actually occurring. Especially since this reunion is orchestrated by Avex and not SM Entertainment.

TVXQ fans responded to this news saying, “While it would be great if reunion happens, it seems unlikely“, “They say Avex will lead the project but I can’t trust them“, and “I hope they stop writing these pointless reunion articles“.
