Since 2012 is the year of the dragon, “High Cut” magazine recruited Big Bang’s G-Dragon to grace the cover of their latest issue and labeled his pictorial, “Year of the g-Dragon.”
In the photos, G-Dragon is seen sporting Bean Pole clothes and backpacks while making poses varying from playful to sexy. Fellow Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung showed up during the shoot to give their support to G-Dragon. They asked the crew, “Please take good care of our Ji Yong.”
G-Dragon participated in an interview after the photoshoot and said, “In 2012, I feel like we should work even harder in order to show our gratitude for all the support fans have shown Big Bang.” When asked about his concerns regarding the public criticisms towards him for his marijuana scandal last year, he replied, “I am at fault, so I will accept it. I’ll try to keep a positive attitude.”
G-Dragon also revealed, “I enjoy watching SBS’s ‘K-Pop Star,’ which our president (Yang Hyun Suk) appears in. I told Yang that if I hadn’t joined the company earlier, I would have probably been eliminated on ‘K-Pop Star.” He also disclosed that he’s been keeping an eye on contestant Lee Seung Hoon, who is said to live only a minute away from the YG office.
In related news, G-Dragon will be joining his fellow Big Bang members for their comeback later this month. Their comeback album is scheduled for release on February 29th.
