Super Junior’s Shindong now has a Facebook page, and he has asked the fake Shindongs to deactivate their accounts and for fans to stop sending friend requests.
Shindong posted the message on February 2nd and said the following:
“To the people who have used my name to make an account on facebook…this is a personal [favor] and request from me, please deactivate your accounts.. Enough of the pretending… Also, please stop trying to add me as a friend. I’m sorry for not being able to accept all of you as a friend… If I end up accepting everyone, it is going to be hard for me to read and catch up [on] posts of my actual close friends..”
He continued with “I hope you will understand me… But I will set all my status and picture posts settings to public… If there’s anyone who is able to translate this status for the foreign fans to read, please help me to translate it ^^ I’m really sorry^^^ But really, enough of the pretending..”
That’s nice that he created a Facebook page and is willing to let fans see what he is up to. I think it is a reasonable request for him to keep his Facebook page for mostly his friends, especially since he already updates Twitter quite frequently.
Anyway, you can take a peek at Shindong’s facebook here. Just don’t friend him, please.
