The event VIPs around the world have been hoping for is finally happening as Big Bang has announced that they will be holding their first world tour, titled ‘ALIVE TOUR 2012‘, this year through Live Nation!

Their first stop will be in Seoul, Korea at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium from March 2nd to the 4th. They will then embark on their world tour in 16 countries, and 25 cities with shows in Asia, North America, South America, and Europe.

YG Entertainment is pulling out all the stops to make Big Bang’s World Tour one of the world’s best concerts. They’ve recruited the help of producer Laurieann Gibson, who recently directed Lady Gaga‘s ‘The Monster Ball Tour’, as well as choreographed for “Poker Face”, “Judas”, and “Telephone”, to take the lead role as director. Aside from Lady Gaga, she has also worked with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, and Katy Perry.

Meanwhile, Leroy Bennett, who has worked with Madonna, Paul McCartney, and Eagles, will be in charge of the stage/lighting, while Ken Van Druten, who previously worked with Eminem, J-Jay, and Linkin Park, will be the sound director. Additionally, Possible Productions, a visual contents producing team, will also be assisting Big Bang’s World Tour.

Lady Gaga? well, from my opinion, Lady Gaga’s dances were pathetic. no offence. but anyways, i hope the boys can get something fresh and ‘their’ style because i would dread it if they made BIGBANG dance like Lady Gaga. o_o
