Rumors of an unknown 26 year old idol was being blackmailed by his ex-girlfriend has been going around. As he was rising in popularity due to his various dramas and multiple CFs, his ex-girlfriend threatened to release video footage of his naked body and photos over the internet if he didn’t hand over $894,000 (1 billion won). As their were many rumors that JYJ’s Park Yoochun is the victim, on February 10th, JYJ’s representative confirmed that the male is not Park Yoochun. The representative said, “We’ve checked with Park Yoochun and learned that he has no connection whatsoever with the event. These are unproven speculations, and to be honest, it is shocking to us as well. We’ve been struggling to decide whether we should make an official announcement about this matter since we had nothing to do with it. However, we became increasingly worried as the rumors spread.” I’m glad to know it’s not Yoochun who was threatened but it will be lovely if this blackmailing didn’t exist to begin with.

The videos and photos has been confiscated. Whoever it is please learn to not let people take videos or pictures of your naked body even if you’re in are a relationship. It might be used against you in the future. Ex-girlfriend of his, please work hard to make some money on your own instead of blackmailing him.

whoever that poor guy is i do feel sorry for him… but really, letting other people have photos of your naked body is not such a wise thing to do, especially when you’re an idol..

Relationships-gone-bad in the idol world are scary. If it isn’t obsessive fans sending threats, it the ex-girlfriend/boyfriend asking for money in a dramatic way.

Even if it isn’t Yoochun, I hope all these rumors are just an exaggeration. People don’t deserve to be blackmailed.
