The ‘bed scene’ has been a Kdrama phenomenon as of late. We asked our writers, “Which idol pair would you not mind seeing in a drama ‘bed scene’?” Here’s what some of our writers had to say:

Victoria Huynh: An idol pair I would not mind seeing in a ‘bed scene’ for a drama is Miss A’s Suzy and 2PM’s Taecyeon. Although Suzy is a bit young, but I think she and Taec make a pretty hot couple. I found them to be quite a cute couple in Dream High and even rooted for them throughout the drama. We all know that Taecyeon has a hot body and Suzy can be downright sexy and cute. I wouldn’t mind seeing them together. Additionally, there was even a scene in Dream High where Taec just came out of the bathroom with just a towel on and Suzy happened to walk right into the house. I think it would be quite a hot scene if something more happened!

Jessica Ng: Usually, when fangirls and even fanboys see parings of their favorite Korean idols, they either are immensely delighted or outrageously disappointed. Then, there are those rare fans that don’t really have a preference, like me. When the topic of a drama “bed scene” arises though, there is one couple which I wouldn’t mind seeing getting all “close” with each other: Nichkhun and Victoria, the Khuntoria couple! Based on their various interactions with each other on “We Got Married,”expect a cutely awkward scene from these two. I would not cringe upon seeing them get intimate with each other; instead, I would be giggling at Nichkhun’s shyness and sweetness towards a charmed Victoria. He would be a complete gentleman, of course. With that being said, I shall not go into further details, but I bet that this couple would gain more happy “awww”s than anything from the audience if they had a drama bed scene. (Except for the individuals who have hopes of marrying Nichkhun or Victoria… but we shall not go into that.)

Lisa Lui: If I wanted to see a bed scene in a drama, I would want a pair that was steamy, pretty, and had GREAT sexual chemistry. The first pair that comes to mind is Cube Entertainment’s Troublemakers, Hyunseung and HyunA. Now, I know that some fans would thoroughly object to a bed scene between the two, but lets all keep in mind that they are professionals here. Anyway when I watched “Troublemaker” I was very impressed by how beautiful the two looked together and I immediately thought that they would do well with something a little more…risque. I think both of them teased their fans quite a bit with their choreography, the MV, and the pictorials we saw of the pair for ads and magazine spreads, so I am very curious as to how they would be if they had gone one step further like a bed scene.

Aivoree Sison: For the guy, the decision was easy. I choose TOP. No, it’s not just because I want to see him with less clothes on but because TOP, aside from his superb acting skills, is very, very, very, hot and handsome. Any drama with him in a bed scene will top all the rating charts. For the girl, deciding who to pair with him was more difficult than I expected. She must have charm that can equal that of TOP, who can easily make viewers scream just by raising one of his eyebrows. So, I choose the very beautiful and sexy Sooyoung. She has this powerful personality that can definitely overcome and compliment TOP. Even with eight other sexy girls in SNSD, Sooyoung still manages to standout. Some might not agree that she is the sexiest of the group, but to me she is certainly the most eye-catching. She has a certain ‘spunk’ in her that makes you want to get to know her more. Of course, a successful bed scene is not just about paring two hot people. Chemistry is what will decide the outcome. Even though TOP admits that he is very awkward around girls, I expect their fun and playful characters will allow them to work comfortably with each other. I think that this pair will have that perfect chemistry that is needed for a realistic bed scene.

Pamela Sitt: Bed scene… what comes to mind when you read the words bed scene? For a lot of people, they think of the hot and steamy bed scene where the camera pans away when things get a bit too steamy. However, have you ever thought of a bed scene where its just sweet, cute and fluffy? Like, just two people lying in bed, cuddling, whispering sweet nothings at each other, and maybe the occasional tickle war or pillow fight? Well, if I think of a bed scene in that way (or the other way for that matter), immediately two people pop into my mind, Yunho and Jaejoong of TVXQ. It might be because they’ve been friends for a long time or just because they’re very comfortable with each other, but between them, I feel like they’re the type of couple that would spend time together on a bed and just relax. I personally don’t mind seeing them do a bed scene (steamy or not… commence fan girl mode!) in a drama. They’re already so sexy and god-like that if they had to do a steamy one, the temperature in the room would rise and everyone (boy or girl, fan or not), would have a nose bleed. As for the sweet bed scene, I can totally imagine them just chilling in each others arms with a feeling of bliss around them and making everyone want to squish them for being so cute together. Also, the Yunjae couple have such a genuine relationship that they seem like a real couple, even though a lot of people argue that it’s just fan service, but even if they’re doing a bed scene in a drama, it would seem totally natural and not forced at all. Also, I personally think that no one would mind if they actually were in a bed scene together. A lot of Cassies ship them and support them even through hard times (we all know what that is right?) and it would mean everything was settled between them (if only that would happen!). So the couple that I totally wouldn’t mind seeing in a drama bed scene is the Yunjae couple.
