Sorry Block B fans, but it appears as though Block B will not be present on any music programs for the rest of the week, minimum.

The public was very disappointed in the boys of Block B after the Thailand interview controversy, but nobody expected the performers to be removed from music programs. The group’s name was missing in the list of performers for February 24th’s ‘Music Bank’, February 25th’s ‘Music Core’, and February 26th’s ‘Inkigayo’.

An official statement regarding the removal hasn’t been released, but it is evident that it will be a difficult and tiring time for Block B as they try to reappear on shows once again. A source from the industry stated, “Music programs are ones that are watched by people all over the world, so doesn’t it seem that it would be problematic for a group who has done international fans wrong, to make an appearance?” Yet another member of the production team of a music program continued, “Although it’s not to the point of banning their appearances, until the situation is resolved, Block B’s appearance will be restricted.”

Mnet, on the other hand, allowed the group to appear on the 23rd of February’s broadcast of ‘M! Countdown’ and are currently looking at the situation in order to make a decision as to whether Block B will appear next week. A source claims, “We are well aware of the public’s criticisms. However, since there are quite a few days left until the next show, we haven’t yet started discussing any specific details yet.”

What do you guys think about the ban/restriction? Are companies and netizens over-reacting or is this punishment in order?

i just hope that things can die down soon… they made a mistake they sincerely apologized, you guys were furious and you should forgive them after apologizing, isn’t this the way things were supposed to be?

This.

this would affect their future career, hope this would die down soon

Not fair. Not fair. Not fair. Ugh, this is whole thing is just sad and gah idk. Oh well, can’t do anything, meanwhile, i hope the bashing stops and they get to have some rest.

Seriously, BASHERS they already apologized SINCERELY!!… What more do you guys want?!?!?!… Just STFU and leave them alone!!! It’s not the end of the world!!! I mean floods do happen, it’s not like they caused it.. SO WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE BLAMING THEM???

I know it s not fair! but it s better for them!people won’t stop bashing them!

maybe they will stop group activities and wait till everything has quiet down and then have a huge comeback

hwaiting boys

;-; ... i feel… that it’s better to be back on the show and stay strong no matter what, and apologize if they could. I understand sbs, mbc, and kbs’s restictions, but this won’t help the group…

I do understand the need to remove them from shows for the rest of the week. If they don’t the stations could lose ratings, blah, blah, blah.
BUT, if they keep them from appearing next week, I think it will have gone to far. They know they have done wrong and they have apologized - several times in different formats. Now, it is time for all to forgive and let go of this issue.
As much as I understand, I’m still heartbroken. =(

I know it’s painful, but I understand it T_T

awww..... having worked so hard
hwaiting boys

i don’t think they should’ve been banned.

I don’t think they should be banned :(, they have a new song they have to be able to promote it :( feel so sad for them, haven’t they suffered enough :(

More sad news JUST FREAKING GREAT!!!! This is so not fair and getting way out of hand. Now Im really pissed =.=*

Seriously.. Block B is suffering so much already. >__<
I hope they will rise as a powerful group someday. So sad to be a BBC and see this happen. Aaghhh. Block B, be strong. :/

This has been blown waaaaaaaaaaay out of proportion. I hate seeing how much Block B is being affected by all this, they seem so miserable nowadays, it breaks my heart.

thts just wrong..omgod..

WHAT. This is totally unfair! I’m not a BBC but this is going too far. The boys have apologized already, haven’t they? :(

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:/

this isn’t fair to them at all :( one mistake lead to a suicide and disbandment petition, to a member going into shock and being hospitalized, a member shaving their hair off and now being banned from music shows? Korea is taking this way to far now...I’ve never seen this happen before :( the only thing BBC’s can do now is support Block B. but i think they should take a little time off the rest since this has been dramatic for all of them
