On the episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on February 28th, Seohyun revealed, “We were aware of how huge this show was in America, enough for member Tiffany who grew up in the States to cry after we received the invitation to perform. But in the beginning, we had discussions of not going through with it.”
“It’s a tremendous show, but we didn’t think we would be able to put on our best performance, so we were going to decline,” she continued. “Because the Letterman Show is a talk show, the stage is extremely small. Not all of us could fit and we didn’t think we could properly perform.”
The second reason why they didn’t want to perform on the show was because they had to perform the club remix version featuring rapper Snoop Dogg that Americans were accustomed to.
Seohyun shared, “After discussions with the staff members, we decided to go through with the show after they enlarged the stage for us a little bit, and we prepared really hard.”
A clip of the girls’ performance was then played and the studio clapped for the girls’ successful performance.
