It looks like SHINee’s Minho has been quite the lucky guy lately, as not only did he go on a date with SNSD’s Taeyeon in sitcom Salamander Guru and the Shadows and kissed 2NE1’s Dara on the lips for his upcoming Etude House CF, but he also went on a cute Namsan date with IU on the most recent episode of Salamander Guru and the Shadows.

IU appeared in the sixth episode of the sitcom, where she played a pickpocket and stole Wonsam’s wallet. When caught, she lied about having to pay the hospital bills for her ill mother, but the show had a little twist in mind that probably will surprise most of you (even I was surprised).

It turns out that IU, as Ji Eun, terminally ill aspiring singer who’s been a hospital patient and made a bucket list so that she would have no regrets about her life. Items on that bucket list included “Namsan date with Boyfriend” and “sing for dad”. She was able to accomplish that thanks to Minhyuk (Minho) and co., as Minhyuk became her boyfriend for the day where they played “rock, paper, scissors” and made their own “love lock”.

She also sang in front of Seondal, who played as her father.

No wonder you can’t hate her - she has a reason for all of that! So sad.
