According to Big Bang’s Seungri, Taeyang lives a penny-pinching lifestyle! On the April 20th episode of SBS ‘GO Show‘, Seungri remarked, “The only thing charged on Taeyang’s credit card last month was his cell phone fee.”

Taeyang explained, “I got my credit card bill one morning and I was really surprised to see I was only charged 1,000 KRW (less than $1 USD). It was a fee they charged after I applied for a new phone.”

According to Taeyang, “After work promotions begin, I have no reason to spend money and it’s also hard to spend money,” leading MC Go Hyun Jung to ask, “What do you mean?”

Seungri then explained that Taeyang got upset after people talked about how he only spent 1,000 KRW, so he then proceeded to spend a lot of this money to prove a point. When asked what he bought, Taeyang’s response, “I just bought everything,” received explosive laughter.

Seungri shared another story saying, “Last year, Taeyang put his car in the parking garage, but I have never seen him actually in it,” which caused the other members to agree.
