BIG BANG’s G-Dragon is known for his artistry, flair, and creativity, but did you know he used to be a trainee at SM Entertainment for five years?

This little gem was relayed through Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News and those who tuned in to the program was quite shocked to learn that G-Dragon was in SM Entertainment since the tender age of 8 and built his singing foundation there before moving over to YG to complete his dream.

In addition, actor Song Joong Ki had the chance of debuting with an idol group after being cast on the street. However, the company that recruited found out that Song Joong Ki was not suitable for dancing and singing and so he departed from the company to focus on acting.

Can you imagine G-Dragon under SM? Nope, no can do.

WOW!! I can’t imagine with which group GD would have debuted with, if he had stayed in SM. I think that YG is really good for him, it suits his style better. ^_^
