SMTOWN’s movie I AM was supposed to premiere later this week on May 10th, but thanks to audio issues, that won’t be happening.

CJ E&M, who will be distributing the movie, has announced that the audio issues have forced them to postpone the movie premiere and commented, “We are deeply regretful and apologize for being unable to hold the movie’s premiere on the originally scheduled date.” The audio issues lie around the different footage used for the movie and because the quality is different for all the clips, the team is working on ensuring that the sound quality stays the same throughout.

I’m a little more than amused. Let’s see, the team has had quite some time to work on this movie and to ensure everything goes smoothly, not to mention that we live in a digital age. It’s just as bad as someone accidentally deleting the digital copy of The Avengers right before a press release.
