Those who enjoy fashion brand Uniqlo and are avid tennis players are getting the best of both worlds: current #1 ATP Tennis player Novak Djokovic will be wearing Uniqlo-sponsored clothes as he takes to the court (and off the court), starting with the upcoming French Open.

The announcement came Wednesday at a press conference in Paris, where Djokovic took to a short runway to show off his new style. After previously wearing Adidas and Sergio Tacchini, Djokovic will be with Uniqlo for 5 years. Uniqlo is better known for its fashion appeal rather than sportswear, so this will be for sure an interesting collaboration.

The look that Djokovic had for the unveiling of his outfit bears a simple, classic white look with blue and red stripes giving color to the white outfit. Djokovic commented, “I’m proud because it’s inspired by the colors of my flag. I hope the collaboration with Uniqlo will bring me luck.” He also added, “I don’t want to compete with Federer. We compete on the tennis court as tennis players.”

I should say - this is quite intriguing.
