While performing “2Hot” on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo‘, G.NA caught fans’ attention when she supposedly kissed her backup dancer. She surprised everyone when it looked like she had touched lips with the dancer.

This was quickly clarified by saying that G.NA did not actually kiss the dancer and that it was an ‘optical illusion’ that was a part of the choreography.

But netizens were still shocked and commented “I thought she was really kissing the backup dancer”, “I was so surprised because it looked so real” and more.

What do you think? It looked pretty real right?

LOL, of course she wouldn’t. Too many “optical illusions” these days. -_-


I can only judge it based on this screen shot - it would have been better to see the actual performance so you can see before and after. In this particular shot it doesn’t look like they kissed, but it looks like they are leaning in to do so.

I’m more surprised by the fact that people are more concerned about the kiss being real or not, rather than the fact that they *wanted* an illusion to the fact that she is kissing another girl.

I’m not homophobic in the least - we can a strong LGBTQ community in Canada and I have a lot of friends within it. But I am really surprised that a Korean agency would go for this kind of image - I had thought Korea was pretty strict about these things. I know that some of the boy groups do it, and I know SuJu (*cough* Heechul *cough* lol) kisses within the members, but I’ve never seen anything like that with any of the girl groups. It’s actually kind of cool and super awesome that there isn’t a fuss about it =D

LOL now this entire thing would all be meaningless if it turns out that was actually a super skinny guy instead of a girl LOL ;D
