2012 has brought us so many weird and funny news stories, and it’s only June! Asians seem to have an endless supply of randomness to share with the world. These are just a few of the random stories that have happened so far in 2012.

First off, I’ve never seen such a well-done rendition of the song “Take On Me” - played with accordions! What makes it even more awesome is that it’s covered by a group of young North Koreans!

Also, you may think he’s bananas, but this Japanese “monkey man” seems to enjoy his lifestyle, spending 10 years walking, running, and doing chores on all fours as a monkey would.

An unhealthy addiction to cigarettes has been taken too far with an 8-year-old from Indonesia, who smokes about 2 packs per day!

Park Seung Mo, a Korean sculptor, painstakingly cuts layers of wire to create amazing wire mesh portraits! Take a look at his video and you’ll see the process he uses to photograph his subjects underwater and to cut the thousands of wires to produce his portraits.

This funny picture shows how you can’t hide the fact that you underwent plastic surgery. Of course, Ningin users have come up with other theories for the picture, but this is the easiest way to describe it.

I like bacon, but this guy must REALLY love it, because he ordered a burger with 1050 pieces of bacon on it! The video of his efforts to eat the mound of bacon went viral, even though he couldn’t finish the burger in his little documentation.

Nearly everyone has at least heard of the wave of Linsanity that swept through America this year. Jeremy Lin became so famous that his underwear went on sale on eBay for a starting price of $1,000!

In what must have been a terrifying incident, a Korean student got trapped in an elevator door and was dragged upward before she was pulled out by another girl.

A province in China has found a way to put the pandas living there to good use - their droppings are used to fertilize a plantation of tea leaves! However, a package of this “panda poop tea,” panda-themed tea sets, and the creator’s own artwork costs $3,500 USD.

Maybe you don’t always remember to brush your teeth, but this Korean girl stopped brushing her teeth for 10 years! It shocked the dentists and the rest of the world!

These little news stories are great for a laugh, a weird look, or just a burst of randomness to perk up your day!

That’s a lot of bacon! And stopping brushing your teeth for that long? disgusting…

the girl that stopped brushing her teeth still grosses me out a little.

Wow those really are random! Packed into one article like this is like a big ball of weirdness lol! The not-brushing-teeth girl was super weird and the one who got trapped in the elevator was scary :( Overall super weird stories so far and were not even done 2012 yet!
