Time flies so fast, and believe it or not we have already reached half the year of 2012! We’ve seen so much songs, dramas and movies being released all over the world, but are you pretty much updated when it comes to Asian movies? If not, you can check out some of the Best Asian Movies of 2012… So Far!

1. Another

If you are up for some horror and mystery, Another is a story about a girl named Mei Misaki, who is being completely ignored by her class. Being part of the cursed class of Yomiyama North Middle School, Class 3-3 students are doing what they can to stop all these deaths from happening.

Although, I’m such a scaredy cat when it comes to horror films, I think it actually sounds quite interesting when I asked my classmate as to what it’s about. The ending was pretty unexpected, and I really like the fact that Misaki has an eye, which can see those who are dead.

2. Runway Cop

Starring the two casts of Hong Gil Dong such as Kwang Ji Hwan and Sung Yuri, Ji Hwan will be playing the role of a detective named Cha Cheol Soo, who will transform into a fashion model in order to solve a case.

I think it’s quite an interesting plot, since I can never imagine a detective acting as a fashion model. Also, I kind of want to watch this movie because Yuri and Ji Hwan actually look really good together!

3. Architecture 101

Architect 101 is a story about architect Lee Seungmin who receives a visit at his office from a woman. Although he wasn’t able to recognize that woman at first, he later on finds out that it’s actually his first love Seo Yeon! Requesting him to rebuild her home in Jeju, he has no choice to accept it, which causes them to open up their old memories such as love and heartbreak.

Once I have the time to actually watch something, I think this will definitely be part of my list! Although I am not the type of person who watches movies, I’m actually curious as to how this one will turn out. It’s pretty famous too! So I’m guessing it’s really good!

4. I AM.

I AM. is a biographical film starring the 32 idols of SM TOWN. Presenting to the people their past, present and future selves, it actually shows kpop fans like us as to how they became the person they are today.

I’m not actually sure if I can include this movie, but I have to say I’m actually quite jelous of those people who were able to see this. I actually want to see all SM TOWN idols during their trainee days since I absoulutely love SM Entertainment’s artists! I wanted to see how these idols actually work hard to pursue their careers! It’s quite interesting to know.

5. Romancing In The Air

After a popular actor get abandoned in the altar by an actress, he decided to travel to the mountanious area of Yunan provice. Trying to forget the things that happened to him, he comes across his true love, who is also actually his secret fan.

I’m a sucker for romantic stuff, so definitely if I so happen to be bored, I’ll definitely try to watch this. I also adore plots like this, and honestly I have no idea way. But I’m sure this movie will not disappoint me!

6. Bad Girls

Bad Girls is a Taiwanese movie focusing on a martial arts girl named Dan (Ella Chen), she is viewed a distateful consoction between defiance and justice. In order to cause more trouble, she forms a group called “The Bad Girls” in order to stop all evil. However, when a film unit suddenly arrives for a shoot, she stumbles upon playing a role of being the lover of the cocky super-idol, Justin (Mike He).

Being a fan of Ella Chen and Mike He, I really want to watch this movie if given the opportunity. It’s a pretty weird plot, but I think it’s definitely worth a try!
