While many include a plain background, in order to focus on the model, many pictorials are very beautiful and creative. Here are 6 pictorials like those.

Cosmopolitan really made an excellent choice by featuring SHINee’s Key in their “Electronic Times” pictorial. With his decorated eyes, nail art, punky hairstyle and priceless expression, this photo says a million words, even if you don’t understand exactly what it’s saying.

The members of Big Bang perfectly portrayed Rocky for Vogue Korea while doing a “Fashion King” pictorial. Daesung and Seungri took the roles of the boxers, and they did a great job. They compliment each other with subtle differences, like the hair color and outfit patterns, yet they show the same competitive boxing emotions amazingly!

f(x)’s Krystal, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, and TVXQ’s Yunho participated in a 1st Look pictorial specially for SM Entertainment’s upcoming movie, “I Am.” While they did have individual shots, this group shot has a family vibe, just a really funky family. They all sport bright-tipped hairstyles, together with their I Am T-shirts and determined expressions. Quite exciting!

We all know just how much Beast’s HyunSeung loves his fashion, but Elle Girl magazine’s pictorial further proved what we already knew. The shoot aimed to show off a rebellious, daring and unexpected side to the singer, and it was perfectly executed. He even wore green pants and looked good - he needs some credit!

Now, now! Before you mention that I’ve chosen this Vogue Girl pictorial based solely on the fact that Kai is topless, I will explain to you why I have selected this specific picture. The pictorial’s concept was a road trip, and while most of us look like death after being in a hot car for hours, these series of pictures showed a refreshing, fun and cool side to those road trips. Being topless was just a bonus!

Kara’s Jiyoung has always been seen as the youngest member of the group: the girl with a cute face. High Cut aimed to show a different side of the singer in their magazine pictorial. Her feminine figure was displayed in a dark, flowing dress which contrasted to her pale skin. They also teamed her against a black board with many random words, which further showed off her innocent charm. Pure perfection!
