It’s a pig! It’s a horse! It’s an alien! It’s… just a dog?

A stray dog seen walking around China has caused people to wonder just what it is. With hairless, pinkish skin, many thought it could be a pig. Then again, with its spots, tail, and hair that could be a mane, others believed it to be a miniature horse.

Some thought that the creature was actually an escaped medical research experiment, but a police spokesperson has testified that the animal is “definitely a dog, and quite an expensive one at that.” It is a Chinese crested hairless dog. But I wonder how its skin became so pink. Sunburn, maybe?
