50,000 Fans Flock to B1A4’s Handshake Event

B1A4 kicked off their debut in Japan with 2 handshake events, bringing a whopping 50,000 fans out to see them!

The guys held 2 events, one on June 30th at the Tokyo Big Site, Tokyo International Exhibition Center and one the following day at Raojona Kawasaki Plaza. At the June 30th event, the guys attracted 35,000 fans and the second event brought 15,000 fans.

At both events, the guys performed the Japanese versions of “Beautiful Target“, “Bling Girl” and “Chu Chu Chu”, all of which were included in their debut Japanese single “Beautiful Target” which was released on June 37th.

B1A4 commented, “We’re amazed that so many people are singing along with us. They even came dressed up in our costumes and props. We will try our best to show you the best stage in the future.”

The guys have officially wrapped up their promotions in Korea for “Baby Goodnight” and are now working on their individual activities.

Any time I hear news of kpop groups in Japan I’m always astounded by the sheer number of them. It seems like Kpop never draws in a crowd less than 10,000 no matter if you are a rookie group or senior. It’s absolutely fascinating!

Anyways, congrats to B1A4 for such a mega successful event!
