That’s what this commercial for Libresse’s green tea-scented feminine hygiene pads seem to be saying.

According to this advertisement by a Malaysian feminine hygiene products company, Libresse, vaginal odor smells like catfish or durian, and it needs to be countered by the scent of green tea. And if you’ve ever encountered durian before, you’ll know that it has a very distinct, pungent smell. It’s even bad enough to get the fruit banned from certain hotels and public transportation. It has been described as “rotten onions, turpentine and gym socks.”

As a female, I’d say it’s pretty insulting to have our body parts’ smells characterized as catfish and durian. Also, I’m not so sure having a scented pad would be such a good idea. What do you think?

that is one of the most ridiculous commercials i have ever seen.
the only reason any woman would smell like that is if they didn’t wash them selves. and i don’t think anyone wants that part (or any part) of their body smelling like green tea.

also if they have a yeast infection.
BUt yeah I don’t think this would work

lol the CF is kinda cute. I don’t really feel all that insulted but I don’t think a scented pad is going to help any. I doubt any person can smell us regularly but having a scented pad might draw attention. Plus it may cause irritation since it is a fragrance. 


I’m not sure as well about using a scented pad, but I find the animation funny.


Hahaha the CF is so funny.
But yeah I don’t like the fact they tell our body smell, what about the men ? And having a scented pad might get the thing worst.
