On July 9th, DSP Media revealed that KARA’s Seungyeon has been in the hospital since July 7th for acute anemia and has cancelled her activities until further notice.

According to DSP Media, Seungyeon has been suffering from headaches and dizziness and is currently in a hospital in southern Seoul receiving treatment. As a result, Seungyeon was unable to attend the “KJ5” perfume event in Singapore and the other four members went on without her.

Seungyeon said through her agency, “I’m really sorry that I couldn’t keep my meetings with fans overseas. I wanted to keep to my schedule [by] going to the hospital to get quickly treated, but it didn’t work. I will rest and do my best to get better quickly.”

The other members of KARA will be returning to Korea on July 11th and will then focus on their individual activities.

Awww…poor Seungyeon! I hope she feels better soon!!
