SNSD was chosen to represent the image character for the brand’s wristwatch, Baby G, in the Asian market. The character, as well as a SNSD model set for the end of the year, will be limited edition and the plan is to use SNSD to help boost the brand’s value and sales by 50% in 2013. The character will appear in 11 Asian countries - China, Korea, Indonesia, amongst others - though no plans have been made for the character appearing in Japan.
The deal is good for one year and will begin later this month.
