Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Sungming recently appeared on KBS 2TV’s “Star Life Theater” and shared their thoughts on being in a group with so many members.

Kyuhyun shared that he wasn’t keen on the idea to begin with, “When I was a rookie, I honestly didn’t like the fact that we have so many members. There was competition even among ourselves.”

He continued, “I’m not the leading type of guy, so I always stay in the back and observe. …However, I love the fact that we have so many members. Since we spent so much time together, we know each others’ strengths and weaknesses. I’m just happy when we are together.”

On the other hand, Sungmin loves having so many members and commented, “I’m reassured because we have a lot of members. I would have received this much love if we didn’t have many members.”

Yeah I can understand both of their feelings!
As a rookie, you might feel insecure that you won’t get enough attention from fans.


In the end they both like having many members.  I felt the same way as Kyuhyun when I was in choir.  I wanted to stand out but in the end, I made so many friends that I didn’t mind being in such a large group.

i guess being in a group with many members can be sometime frustrating, but as they said as the years go by i wont feel the same even when just one leaves. :3
