SS501’s Park Jungmin to debut in Japan as ROMEO

It seems to be all the rage for Korean idols to debut in Japan, but SS501’s Park Jungmin is putting an interesting and dark twist on his Japanese debut.

Fans may have been aware of the name ROMEO that had been associated with the singer for the past few weeks. Park Jungmin held his Japanese showcase ROMEO 1st CONTACT on July 12th in Tokyo and will be officially releasing the first of two singles Give Me Your Heart on September 5th, with the second single Tonight’s the Night to be released on October 31st. Both singles will be listed under ROMEO, which Park Jungmin has described to be his dark alter-ego, born from when Park Jungmin is sleeping.

ROMEO performed at the showcase and after said performance, Park Jungmin made his own appearance and said, “I heard that there is someone who imitates Jung Min, that is why I came here. Although I want to meet ROMEO, I felt very sleepy and slept on the car. ROMEO has already gone? This is impossible. Please don’t be fooled as he is different with Park Jung Min. Although he looks the same as Jung Min, his make up is heavy!”

Looks like it will be a fun alter-ego for the singer!

lol, his speech was really something~ “Please don’t be fooled as he is different with Park Jung Min. Although he looks the same as Jung Min, his make up is heavy!” that was sooooooooooooooo Park Jung Min~ he didn’t really change since SS501 parted away~ that’s why i love him the most~!
