Back in June, a source from within Pledis Entertainment revealed that it was likely that After School’s Jung Ah would be taking over as the leader of the group after Kahi’s graduation. Now it is official!

The news was confirmed on the July 17th broadcast of SBS’ “Strong Heart” that not only would Jung Ah be the eldest member, but also the group’s leader. Pledis Entertainment commented, “After gathering the opinions of the After School members, we have decided to select Jung Ah as the new leader. Jung Ah has led the girls well until now as one of the eldest unnis and we expect her to do well.”

Good luck to Jung Ah! I’m sure she’ll do well as the group’s leader.
