SBS aired their thirteenth episode of ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity‘ on July 7th, and viewers were pleasantly surprised to see rookie soloist Juniel appear on the show as a street performer on the show.
According to the PD, “While we were in the middle of searching for somebody who could perform live, we heard that rookie artist Juniel had experience in live street performances in Japan, so we sent a cameo request to her side.”
Juniel commented, “I had no confidence in acting so I wasn’t greedy in wanting to be cast in a drama. But because the producers of the drama viewed me nicely upon hearing my music, I gladly accepted the offer to cameo as a street performer. There [wasn't a] script for me in that scene and they just told me to casually perform just like what I have done in Japan, so I did my utmost best.”
For the drama, Juniel performed her self-composed track “Everlasting Sunset” from her album “My First June“. Immediately after the show, Juniel became the most-searched public figure on a variety of sites.
Awww I’m so glad that she was able to make a cameo! Good for her!
