On July 24th (KST), 2PM’s Nichkhun was involved in a minor car accident while under the influence of alcohol. In response, JYP Entertainment has released a company notice on their official website.

The notice dated July 24th reads as follows:

This is JYP Entertainment.

Today around 2:30AM, our company’s artist Nichkhun, was going home from a dinner with fellow artists that he has been practicing with for an upcoming concert. At the dinner table, he had two bottles of beer and headed home to his dorm, which is was located on the same block as the restaurant. On the way home, he became involved in an accident with a motorcycle on a school property.

The police’s result of his alcohol level was 0.056% and he received a license suspension. Both the individual and the company apologize for the carelessness that has been committed.

In addition, if there are further investigation to be done, we will be engaged in it sincerely.

We apologize to everyone once again.

Initially it was reported that nobody was seriously hurt in the accident, but another news report stated that the motorcyclist suffered injuries to his shoulder, legs and ears.
