With the 2012 London Olympics already starting off with a bang, MBC decided to do a special ‘Idol Star Olympics‘, which aired on July 26th. Numerous idols from different idol groups participated in various events, showing off their athletic side.

And when it comes to sports, one idol always comes to mind: SHINee’s Minho. Minho is known to be extremely competitive and also to dominate in the events he participates. For these idol sport events, Minho has set and maintained the record for high jump at 173 cm.

Well, that record is no more as Teen Top’s Niel is the new record holder! He and B1A4’s Sandeul, INFINITE’s Sungyeol, Teen Top’s Ricky, and 2AM’s Jinwoon all had their try at the high jump and only Niel managed to clinch the gold medal with a jump of 174 cm.

After the jump, Niel jokingly said, “I want to meet with SHINee’s Minho sunbae” and later went on to ask Shinhwa’s Andy for a cell phone.
