FT Island’s Lee Hongki will be making his big screen debut with the film, “Our Heaven” (working title).

The news was revealed on July 30th by the investor KJ-net. “Our Heaven”, which will be directed by Nam Taek Soo is about a celebrity who goes to volunteer at a hospice facility after a scandal. While working at the facility with the patients, the celebrity begins to learn the importance of his life and music.

The investor has revealed that Hongki will be playing the top celebrity, ‘Chung Ui’, who is healed by the patients he meets while doing volunteer work.

Hongki, who has appeared on TV through the drama series “You’re Beautiful” and “Noriko Goes to Seoul“, commented, “I wanted to be careful in choosing my first film. I was very touched when I read the script of this film, so I chose this one.”

Hongki will start filming “Our Heaven” in September and the film will release early next year.
