With everything surrounding T-ara the last couple of days, Core Contents Media has decided to postpone T-ara’s upcoming domestic concert which was originally scheduled for August 11th.

Core Contents Media stated, “The members of T-ara desperately requested for the agency to postpone their first domestic concert on the 11th.”

They continued, “While talking it over with CEO Kim Kwang Soo, the members stated, ‘In a situation like this, we don’t think we can show fans bright, happy, and lively sides of ourselves on stage. Fans will probably not enjoy seeing us that way as well,’ and requested for the postponement of the concert.”

CCM also informed, “Although reports claimed that large amounts of ticket refund requests had come in for T-ara’s first domestic concert, we’ve only received 20-30 requests.”

The agency concluded, “We believe that the only way we can repay fans is for T-ara to become more mature and self-reflect in light of this situation and continue to create good music. With that said, we will be concluding ‘Day by Day’ promotions.

As for the girls’ individual activities, Soyeon, Eunjung, and Hyomin will continue to participate in their dramas.

I’m pretty sure a lot more people than that requested refunds..


They should just chill for a while.


I don’t know which report to believe because on allkpop it said that almost all tickets (except for 600) were taken back (thought I don’t know how it’s possible to do that on a concert ticket).

In any case, it’s the smartest move CCM has done to date - to postpone it. I don’t think T-ara would get a lot of love right now.

Sucks for people who wanted to go, but I guess it was a good choice. They need to be on the down low for a while… but because they did this, they’re less on the down low. Every action they do, they are put in the news… hmm…


Hmm. I wonder if their comeback will be postponed as well?
