f(x) is preparing to make their debut in Japan and the girls are getting Japanese fans ready with the short PV to “Hot Summer.”

The short PV shows the girls sporting purely white outfits or cool blue outfits, unlike the original MV which showed lots of neon and red. The girls will be releasing “Hot Summer” as their Japanese debut title track in mid-August.

I hope f(x) is successful in their debut!!!! :D The sets for the jap mv are interesting...but i prefer the original mv ^^ The bright red sets and outfits really stood out, it’s like a trademark of the song. The set where they were outside and theres this huge tank, dance crew, water hose and everything were awesome as well


The really like the sets!! Though I don’t get the one with the snow? This song is also great in whatever language it’s in! I love how Amber’s always sticks out!! smile


Oops - I forgot to add something. I’m also impressed by the fact that the Jpop version of Hot Summer sounds almost as good as the Kpop version. I almost never prefer the Jpop version of anything compared to Kpop, but it actually sounded really smooth smile


Wow it really is the opposite of the Korean MV! :O I don’t really like the MV as much - I think of winter when I see white and blue.

Is it just me or does Sulli look too serious? Everyone else has huge smiles on their faces, but Sulli’s looks a bit forced/too concentrated.

Really awesome and pretty PV! ♥ I love the stars although they look like snowflakes… but I think they’re stars… because Hot Summer + Snow doesn’t make sense. xD
