Earlier this week, it was announced that MBLAQ’s Lee Joon would be hitting the small screen with KBS upcoming drama “My Daughter Soyoung“; however, it looks like that statement has been retracted.
According to the producer, Yun Hyun Ki, “It is true that Lee Joon was one of the candidates for ‘My Daughter Soyoung’ that we were looking at in a positive light. However, we came to the conclusion that he would not be cast and are currently looking at other actors. We will release a statement after the official choice is made.”
Apparently the reason why Lee Joon wasn’t cast in the drama was because of his MBLAQ activities. J.Tune Camp stated, “Because Lee Joon is busy with his overseas schedule, he will unfortunately be unable to join the cast. He plans to invest all of his strength into the remaining dates of MBLAQ’s Asia tour.”
Awww…I was really hoping to see Lee Joon in a fixed cast for a drama. Oh well…next time.
