CNBLUE’s Yonghwa is certainly stepping up as a “song writing idol” as he has composed or written lyrics for a total of 17 song so far this year!

This year, FNC Entertainment revealed that Yonghwa has worked on 9 songs for CNBLUE’s upcoming Japanese album, “Code Name Blue” which will release on August 29th, and he wrote 5 songs for their Korean album, “Ear Fun“. The T.G.I. Friday’s CM track, “Friday” was also a song written and composed by CNBLUE’s leader.

Outside of CNBLUE’s work, he has also written for the FNC Entertainment rookies: “Stupid” for Juniel and “Love is Only You” for AOA.

According to the agency, “Yonghwa has been continually writing songs during his free time. He is currently working on the songs for the next activities in Korea.”

CNBLUE is currently starting promotions for their third Japanese single, “Come On” which released in Japan on August 1st. “Code Name Blue” will release on August 29th.

Wow…Yonghwa has certainly been busy this year! But he did promise to focus on music while the others were working on their individual activities after “Ear Fun”. Keep up the hard work, Yonghwa!
