On Saturday, August 4th, the JYP Entertainment artists gathered at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium for the 2012 JYP Nation concert…all except for 2AM’s Jinwoon and 2PM’s Nichkhun.

Everyone knew that Nichkhun would not be participating in the concert this year as he has taken time off for self-reflection as a result of his recent car accident. The rest of the 2PM members stood on stage and expressed their disappointment, stating, “All six of us were supposed to be on stage together, and we’re disappointed it couldn’t be that way.”

Wooyoung continued, “But thank you so much for cheering us on without change despite that. I think the way to repay you all is to put on better performances. We’ll work hard.”

In addition to Nichkhun’s absence, Jinwoon was also absent as he is currently in Madagascar filming SBS‘ “Rule of the Jungle 2“. The 2AM members got quite a few laughs when they commented, “Jinwoon couldn’t be here unfortunately. He might be eating some snakes in Africa now.”

However, even though these two were absent, miss A, The Wonder Girls, 2AM, 2PM, San E, JOO, JJ Project, and J.Y. Park performed in front of nearly 10,000 excited fans for a good three hours!
