INFINITE’s Woohyun will be making his acting debut on TV through MBC’s upcoming fantasy sitcom series, ‘The Thousandth Man‘ and recently he shared just how excited he was on the first day of shooting.
Woohyun, who is currently majoring in Broadcasting and Entertainment, isn’t unfamiliar with acting as he was in the musical Gwanghwamun Love Story in 2011; however, this is his first time acting on TV and he is super excited.
Thinking back to the first day of shooting for the series, he shared, “It was like the first day I went to school when I was eight. I was excited throughout the shooting. In the second shooting, I felt like coming back to school after a vacation. I feel fresh every time when I come to the set.”
He continued, “I want to portray my character in an open and direct manner so that my acting can be natural.”
As for the other INFINITE members, “Sunggyu cheered me on a lot. Other members also said I fit in with the sitcom genre because I’m usually the one who makes the members laugh. They said I should be able to enjoy acting so that viewers can also enjoy watching.”
‘The Thousandth Man’ is a sitcom about the legendary nine-tailed fox (played by Kang Yewon) needs to eat the thousandth man’s liver but the man actually loves her. Also cast in the drama are Lee Chun Hee and T-ara’s Hyomin. The show will begin on August 17th.
