JYJ’s Jaejoong has wrapped up shooting for MBC’s ‘Dr. Jin‘. After the last shooting for the drama, he sat down for an interview and discussed the relationship he has with his juniors and music.

During the interviewer asked if he wants to appear on music programs again to which he answered, “I want to appear on music programs. …When I talk to my juniors, it feels like JYJ have become [strangers]. I feel like we have become rare seniors to our juniors. The juniors look at us in wonder when we run into them, since it’s hard to see us on TV. Our juniors told us that when a new song or album by JYJ comes out, they seek it out on purpose and download it to listen to us.”

As for what he’s been listening to, he revealed, “My manager likes SISTAR, so I listen to a lot of their songs. I listen to what my manager listens to, and I like their songs. SISTAR sings well. For male singers, I like BEAST’s new song. I saw their ‘Inkigayo’ performance too.”

Jaejoong also talked about composing songs; however, when he was composing songs and playing ‘Kim Kyung Tak’ he found that the songs were harsh and sad so he deleted them.

In JYJ news, he shared, “We are preparing for a new album that will be released in the first half of next year.”

I, too, want to see JYJ on tv.  I don’t like the way KBS,SBS, and MBC does their music shows.  They are supposed to cater to their viewers.  And yet they don’t and just cater to the needs of SM who basically has banned JYJ.  SM needs to get a life and stop doing what their doing.

it’s been let’s say ‘awkward’ for JYJ since they broke up from TVXQ, causing them not to be on music programs anymore.. ;___; they broke up from SM, one of the most powerful music industries in kpop…
gah, i’m always hoping that can just be put aside, and that they can get back onto more programs!! ;___;

It’s pretty sad that JYJ still can’t appear on music programs yet..it’s ridiculous. They’re talented and they deserve to show the Korean audience their talent. It’s just really sad being a Korean idol and being banned from music stages in your own country..and the hoobae-sunbae relationships are such nice components of kpop. It sucks that they’re missing out on that.


So much in this short article! It is so frustrating that they are still not on music programs yet. I just want this stupid lawsuit to end - if JYJ becomes TVXQ again I’ll be ecstatic. If they stay as JYJ I will love them all the same and I’ll support them - but I need them to be in music programs and actively promoting to do that! I just wish they can do whatever they want!

It’s great to hear he likes his junior’s music! I would love to hear him comment on EXO! =D
