When “The Thieves” hit the box office, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Hae Sook both made promises to the public if their movie reached 10 million viewers. It has…and both of them have kept their promise to their fans!

Last month, Kim Soo Hyun told fans that he would give the 10 millionth viewer a piggy back ride and Kim Hae Sook promised that she would give the 10 millionth viewer at kiss. So on August 18th, a special event was held to celebrate the ‘10 Million Audience’ and both actors were in attendance.

At the event, Kim Hae Sook expressed her gratitude saying, “I was happy to [be] cast in such in an amazing movie, and I’d like to share the thanks from the bottom of my heart. Thank you again for coming in such bad weather.”

Kim Soo Hyun added, “I only dreamed of 10 million audiences and I feel too thrilled to see that it became true.”

To keep their promises, Kim Soo Hyun carried a middle school girl, who came from the countryside around the theater. Apparently, she burst into tears when she heard her seat called.

As for the fan that received a kiss from Kim Hae Sook, the fan gave the actress a flower basket and received a big hug and kiss on the cheek from her.

Awww I really want to see this movie!!! So glad that they hit 10 million viewers!
