The ladies of KARA recently made their comeback with Pandora, and released their MV on August 21st. Coming back with a more sensual and mature image, their music video features a catchy melody and sexy choreography. However, their choreography seems to be a bit too sexy for KBSMusic Bank.

On August 23rd, a representative for Music Bank stated, “If we feel the need, we will ask for either the clothes or the dance to be changed.”

In the music video, you can see the members of KARA in outfits featuring tight shorts and jackets. Parts of their choreography requires them to take off their jackets. The most controversial instance, is around the 1:27 mark of the video, where they turn around and remove their jackets, exposing their backs. At their comeback showcase on the 22nd, they were seen performing Pandora with nude colored shirts, but the color gives off an illusion of a backless outfit.

A representative for Music Bank continues, “We are more conservative than other broadcasting companies about the nature of clothes and dances, not just for KARA but for all groups. This is because of our broadcast is rated for those 15 years and older. And as much as this has become an issue, we will ask for changes to be made if we feel the dance pushes the limitations.

We will make our decision after seeing the choreography in person,” they concluded.

In the past, Rania, 4Minute, and Rainbow have been censored by Music Bank as well, due to provocative choreography.

I guess I saw this coming.

I love the choreography, but i had a feeling this was coming…

Korea is so strict with these things

I kind of expected this…

Korea is a bit too strict with their age limits =_= i mean i get where theyre coming from tho...so i don’t really mind

Knew it was going to happen...was just waiting on the article to prove it. smile

i really like the choreo and i don’t mind, but if they decide to, i can’t do anything about it XD

I would agree if in reality that even girls younger than 15 are watching these music programs.  As long as they play the mv I’m fine.
