The Seoul Supreme Prosecutor’s Office has fined 2PM’s Nichkhun 4 milllion KRW (approximately $3,500 USD) for his drunk driving accident back in July.

The Prosecutor’s Office released a statement on August 30th, stating, “Nichkhun already reached a settlement with the other party. There were no serious injuries, and his blood alcohol level was low, so the case was settled with a summary judgement (settled by a judge with no jury involved). There were no further investigations.”

Since the accident, Nichkhun has taken time off for self-reflection.

woah, huge amount of fine to pay..


In all honesty I’m just happy it could be settled and he can get past this now. Like the judge said there was no serious injury. It is a lot of money but it could have been worse so I’m just thankful Nichkhun isn’t going to be seriously penalized for this.

I think that’s too much money. :/ I mean is blood-alcohol contest was low… he could have only drunken 1 beer and that counts even though 1 beer probably wouldn’t phase anyone… but I’m glad he’s not in serious trouble! Can’t wait for his appearances to be back…
