On August 30th, KBS held the 2012 Seoul Drama Awards. At the event, JYJ’s Yoochun won the ‘Outstanding Hallyu Drama Male Actor Award’ and dedicated the award to his late father.

Yoochun won the award for his role on “Rooftop Prince” as ‘Lee Gak’. During his acceptance speech, he had everyone tearing up as he said, “I am glad to have received an award for such a great drama. I want to dedicate this award to my father, who was not able to watch.”

Yoochun’s father passed away back in March before the drama started airing.

He also took home the ‘Netizen Popularity Award’. He won both of the awards last year as well.
