Big Bang’s leader, G-Dragon may be busy preparing for his solo album, but apparently he is also producing YG Entertainment’s new girl group.

On August 31st, an official in the industry revealed, “G-Dragon will work as a producer for the new girl group. This is the first time he has produced another group. …Besides G-Dragon, representative songwriters from the agency will work together to create songs for the new group. G-Dragon decided to participate in the endeavor with them to give the girl group a unique color.”

Additionally, Jennie Kim, who has been revealed to be a member of the girl group, will be playing the heroine in G-Dragon’s “That XX” MV, while another member is featured in another one of his songs.

So far five members have been unveiled for the group, but no other details have been announced. The group will be debuting in October.
