Beast’s Junhyung may be known for his charismatic rapping, girl group idol girlfriend Hara, or ever just for his purple hair. However, he has earned himself the nickname ‘Tongue Fatty‘ due to, well, his fat tongue.

On the 5th of September, Beast guested on MBC every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, where they showed off their charms, talents and strange characteristics.

The ‘Rewritten Profile’ segment of the variety saw the nickname ‘Tongue Fatty’ on Junhyung’s profile, which shocked Hyungdon and Defconn, the MCs of the show. Junhyung questioned, “When you wake up in the morning, don’t you feel like your tongue is swollen?“, and MC Hyungdon quickly answered, “My tongue is always swollen, so I wouldn’t know“.

The writers of the show then proceeded to whip out a ruler and compared Hyungdon’s tongue thickness to Junhyung’s. Surprised by the difference, he stated, “You could use this as an individual talent on variety shows!”
