A Pink’s Eunji recently appeared on SBS‘ “1000 Song Challenge“, and she’s been criticized for rude behavior in the show. In the show, Eunji participated in the karaoke challenge, where the goal is to run up to the microphone, and be the first person to grab hold of it and sing the chorus verse.
Eunji played this game along with comedian Han Min Kwan and Kim Hyun Jung, along with athlete Cho Jun Ho, who are all considered her seniors.
Eunji was under fire for being rude to her seniors, as she grabbed hold of the mic and pulled it towards her while others already had hold of it and were singing.
In response to the criticism, Eunji apologized through her SNS, “As much as I received love and interest from everyone, I will become A Pink’s Eunji who is even more careful with her action and words.”
So, thoughts? When one gets excited while playing a game, these actions could easily come out by accident. Were netizens overreacting?

people, its not overreating, when I was watching it (and i’m a eunji fan), she was totally out of line.. like everytime I was like “wtf is she doing?” AND she hurt the hand of a olympic medalist… so.. yeah… but at least she apologized
Sigh…
Stuff like this doesn’t happen on Running Man. Where sunbae hoobae relationships fly out the window during games.
Do people forget that social behaviors change in different social situations? She is an entertainer and is doing a televised game show. If she acts too formal, who would want to watch it? Boring people. It brings laughter to the show and can make people closer. Karaoke is fun not formal!

It’s just a game, no need to apologize for being playful and a little silly.

I don’t see anything wrong with it.. People are just overreacting.... -____-") It’s just a game, come on. I bet it was unintentional anyways.
But, she apologized; it’s all good.

It’s okay I do that a lot. Netizens are just overreacting
It’s a gaaaame! Anyone would do that with their friends. But they are her seniors so culturally I guess it is correct.

yup, they’re definitely overreacting

I also think that netizens are overreacting AND that what Eunji did was kinda rude. But hey, she got excited in the middle of the game and when that happens, people usually end up doing things they may regret. But at least she has apologized so I’m good.

I think it is an overreaction, but at the same point I see what they are saying. I get highly competitive myself and the person that I become disregards respectful social behavior, so I sympathize with Eunji.
I do see it as a tiny bit rude to take the mic if they are already singing, but it’s not the worst she could have done.

when don’t netizen’s overreact? =_=
09/10/12 10:29 pm
Netizens are overreacting...again -_- I unintentionally do that
netizens overreact over everything...we should just get used to it and ignore them…
09/10/12 10:23 pm
The netizens are overreacting again.
09/10/12 10:17 pm
they just need to get on with what happen, it was all in good fun
It’s a game show.. She probably made it more entertaining, it’s not like she harmed anyone
09/10/12 10:13 pm
it’s a definite over-reaction. there’s no harm done, i mean, her seniors weren’t offended in any way at all.
