On this week’s episode of “Running Man,” the games continued with the show’s latest special guests, Olympic rhythmic gymnast and newly-minted “nation’s fairy” Son Yeon Jae and Olympic swimmer Park Tae Hwan. Though Yeon Jae stole all eyes when she displayed her impressive flexibility and physical strength.
In a mini-game session between two rounds of exhilarating (but exhausting) hide-and-seek chases, the cast members took a little break by holding a series of games instead. Everyone was called to write down one activity they were the best in and then some of those activities would be selected for games.
Son Yeon Jae wrote down “stretching,” which seemed pretty easy, but then proceeded to give a personal demonstration and displayed just how good she was at conducting her body. Forever competitive, the “Running Man” cast members tried to copy her moves, but ended up failing miserably. None of their physiques was able to match up to the rubber-band-like flexibility of the rhythmic gymnast.
The Running Man members have been praised for their fitness before, but it seems as though they have a long way to go before being able to match up to an Olympian. Sounds like it’s going to be an entertaining episode.
