All around the world, there’s no doubt that PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” is the current trend. And from all that love, you would think that he is probably rolling in money - or at least be seeing a very nice figure in his bank account, right? Well, maybe not.

In a recent broadcast of MBC‘s “Entertainment Relay,” PSY cleared the air on all of his recent income-related rumors, saying “There were some stories about how I earned 10 billion won [about $9 million USD], but nothing came to me. There’s nothing,” he finished with a laugh.

He also commented on his his rising popularity in America. “I’m just worried that Americans will now think that all Asians will look like me.” Oh PSY, always the jokester.

Though with the payment distribution never that clear concerning idols in KPOP, I was a bit shocked to hear that he hasn’t gotten anything significant yet. But hopefully it won’t be too long, I mean, the holiday shopping season is starting pretty soon…
