Since The Ellen Degeneres Show started in 2003 it is the first time in hit the 3% viewer mark, and that because of the surprise visit of Psy.

This is yet anoher proof that ‘Gangnam Style‘ is still going strong. The rating is also very good for a Korean star who appears in U.S. television, this January Girls Generation also made an apearance on the U.S. show the ‘David Letterman show‘. ranking in a 0.8% ranking (which is still very good!)

The standart of the Ellen show have also been raised because of the appearance of Psy, an U.S official commented, “The ‘Ellen Show’ is the most watched show by women. With the appearance of Psy, the show’s standards have gone up.”

Psy appeared on the show because Britney Spears wanted to learn the ‘horse riding’ dance move.

U.S. internet user commented “Britney looks so happy” and “U.S. and Korea’s best performers finally meet.”

Is that for real!? That is absolutely amazing! I occasionally watch the Ellen show so it’s super duper mind blowing to hear that Psy has managed to bring the rating up so drastically! Especially when you there have been other viral sensations on the show - it’s mind boggling how out of control the popularity of Gagnam Style is! Congrats to Psy - seriously, that is bloody awesome!
